Allah Almighty blessed us with a weather that allowed us to hold all activities outdoors enabling us to follow Covid-19 government restriction protocols. However these restrictions did not deter the khuddam and Atfal from turning up with their passion. Alhamdulilah this year we had a record attendance of more than 250+ people including Khuddam, Atfal, Atfal parents, Guests, Judges and National Amila members.
The opening session took place in the presence of Sadr Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Canada. Sadr sahib shared words of wisdom and advice with Khuddam and Atfal. Respected Sadr sahib interacted with the Atfal, which was really enjoyed by the Atfal as they asked their questions.
The competitions started with ‘Message Relay’ competition in which 5 khuddam from all 7 Majalis participated. This competition took place outside after which the education competitions were held inside the mosque.
Regional Qaid sahib reports that on the last day before ijtema they had no preparation of stage and had no material to prepare a stage. Khuddam found some wood and planks and regional Qaid sahib thought of using the material to build up stage. Khuddam started working on it and in few hours they were able to build an incredible stage out of scrap wood. Alhamdulillah.
