“Ka’b bin Ujrah (ra) met me and said, ‘Shall I not present to you a gift which I heard from the Holy Prophet (sa)?’ I said, ‘Of course, present it to me.’ He said, ‘We asked the Messenger of Allah (sa) saying, “O Messenger of Allah (sa), how can we send salutations upon you and your family, for Allah has taught us how to send salutations?” The Holy Prophet (sa) said, “Say, ‘O Allah, bless Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as You did bless Abraham and the people of Abraham. You are indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, prosper Muhammad and the please of Muhammad, as You did prosper Abraham and his people. You are indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.”’”
