Nasir Tournament included multiple sports featuring volleyball, basketball, and a 3-point competition. Each sport had 16 participating teams, bringing together over 300 Khuddam. Participants hailed from various regions, including Khuddam from the USA, with Huzoor’s permission, GTA, Western Ontario, Eastern Ontario, and Eastern Canada. Notably, Huzoor granted permission for a team from Belize to join; however, visa issues unfortunately prevented their participation.
The talent in the tournament proved to be exceptional. There were many exciting moments and close calls! One basketball match ended in a half court buzzer beater. The finals for both basketballand volleyball were very competitive. After all the dust was settled Muqami came out on top as champions in both sports!
The highlight of the tournament was on Sunday when attendees had the special honor of a Sohbate Saliheen session with Respected Abdul Sami Khan Sahib. Maulana Sahib shared many special moments and memories of Khulafa that touched the audience and had a profound impact on those present.
For the first time in Nasir Tournament history, all games were livestreamed with commentary, reaching an impressive viewership of over 12,000. This innovative approach allowed a broader audience to witness the exciting competitions and added an extra layer of engagement to the event, amplifying its impact and reach beyond the physical venue.
The tournament ended with prize distribution and closing session presided by Respected Amir Sahib Canada.
